Alana was born in Long Island, New York, but moved to Virginia at a young age. From childhood, Alana has been a part of the Fairfax County community; attending Fairfax County Public Schools through high school, then attending Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University for her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees, respectively. Alana majored in Government and International Politics for undergrad, and then earned a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University. Her passion for law enforcement and justice were instilled at a young age by her father who was in Federal Law enforcement. The opportunity to work in the legal field has always been a dream of hers that finally came to fruition in October 2023.
Outside of the office, Alana spends her time “glamping” with her husband and son in their travel trailer, seeing Broadway musicals, and also roots for the local sports teams, GO CAPS and Commanders!!
